LEARNING AND EARNING IMPACT AREA

Vision Statement: Strong communities have high rates of employment and a skilled, educated workforce that can generate adequate wages to support individuals and families.

The Community Outcomes are: (a) enhanced opportunities for education and training; (b) employment rate and earnings leading to financial stability; and (c) increased community involvement that leads to support of the needs of individuals and families.

The Learning and Earning Impact Council of United Way of Northwest Louisiana supports programs that address its major objectives that are focused on employment, transportation, adult literacy, and financial stability for the community it serves.
