HEALTHY COMMUNITIES IMPACT AREA

Vision Statement: We envision communities where all have access to health and human services, and where the quality of life is enhanced by improving and sustaining the wellness of individuals.

The Community Outcome is improved service availability across communities, and enhanced education about healthy lifestyles and health management is made available to all children and adults.

The Healthy Communities Impact Council of United Way of Northwest Louisiana seeks programs designed to improve health literacy, health literature dissemination to at risk populations, and access to medical, mental and dental care.
