FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IMPACT AREA

Vision Statement:  We envision communities where families are the foundation on which strong communities are built. All individuals, including children and the elderly, thrive in safe and supportive environments.

The Community Outcome for this area is to increase the optimal development of children (from birth through age 18) and families grow stronger providing support for the future.

The Families and Children Impact Council of United Way of Northwest Louisiana supports programs that address its major objectives focused on: senior support services, out-of-school time programs for children, or domestic violence intervention programs.
